THE MISSION OF THE MANITOWOC CHIEFS YOUTH FOOTBALL ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE AN ORGANIZED, EDUCATIONAL FOOTBALL PROGRAM FOR PLAYERS IN 5TH THROUGH 8TH GRADES. WE OFFER EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR ATHLETES TO LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS AND PROPER TECHNIQUES OF THE GAME OF TACKLE FOOTBALL. THE ULTIMATE GOAL IS FOR EACH CHILD TO DEVELOP PROFICIENCY AND A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF THE GAME WHILE STRESSING THE PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESS HARD WORK, PRIDE, SELF-CONFIDENCE, SPORTSMANSHIP AND TEAMWORK. IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE A COMPETITIVE, YET SAFE ENVIRONMENT TO FOSTER OUR PLAYERS' APPRECIATION OF THE GAME AND DEVELOP LIFE SKILLS THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE GAME OF FOOTBALL.
