THE FIRE DEPARTMENTS GOAL IS TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY AND ENHANCE PUBLIC SAFETY. WE DO SO BY PROVIDING FIRE SUPPRESSION, EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE IN COORDINATION WITH DARE COUNTY EMS, VEHICLE EXTRICATION, LIMITED WATER RESCUE, SEVERE WEATHER EMERGENCY RESPONSE, PUBLIC EDUCATION, FIRE PREVENTION INSPECTIONS, CHILD SAFETY SEAT INSTALLATION AND INSPECTION AND VARIOUS COMMUNITY PROJECTS.
