OUR MISSION IS TO EMPOWER COLORADO STUDENTS TO ACHIEVE A LIFETIME OF ECONOMIC UNDERSTANDING AND FINANCIAL FREEDOM. HOW WILL WE ACHIEVE THIS MISSION? BY PROVIDING ECONOMIC AND PERSONAL FINANCIAL EDUCATION TO STUDENTS THROUGH TRAINING PROGRAMS AND CLASSROOM RESOURCES DELIVERED TO TEACHERS, SCHOOLS AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS. WE ENVISION A WORLD WHERE ALL COLORADO STUDENTS WILL LEARN THE FUNDAMENTAL ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL DECISION-MAKING SKILLS NECESSARY TO REALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL. THIS MISSION IS A GOOD FIT WITH JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT-ROCKY MOUNTAIN'S (JA) MISSION TO INSPIRE AND PREPARE YOUNG PEOPLE TO OWN THEIR ECONOMIC SUCCESS. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BUSINESS AND EDUCATORS JA IMMERSES STUDENTS IN DISRUPTIVE, REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCES. THE ACQUISITION OF COLORADO COUNCIL ON ECONOMIC EDUCATION (ELC) BY JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT-ROCKY MOUNTAIN WAS APPROVED BY THE JA BOARD ON AUGUST 22, 2024. THE ACQUISITION WAS APPROVED BY THE ELC BOARD ON AUGUST 15, 2024.
