VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR THE RURAL COMMUNITY OF CORD, AR, PROVIDING FIRE-FIGHTING SERVICES AND RESPONSES TO 911 EMERGENCY CALLS. THE DEPARTMENT PROVIDES EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING FOR THE FIREFIGHTERS WHO ARE VOLUNTEERS FROM THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THERE WERE 22 VOLUNTEERS. THEY RESPONDED TO 65 CALLS IN 2023.
