THE MISSION OF THE CORE FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE NEEDED FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND EDUCATION FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH SPINAL CORD INJURIES AND OTHER NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ACTIVITY-BASED RECOVERY PROGRAM. THE CORE FOUNDATION FOCUSES ON TWO MAJOR AREAS: 1. GRANTING FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR INDIVIDUALS TO PARTICIPATE IN APPROVED ACTIVITY BASED TRAINING PROGRAMS, WHICH ARE NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE. 2.FUNDING VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS TARGETING THE PARALYSIS COMMUNITY IN AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO SERVICES.
