Mission
THE MISSION OF THE TRUST IS TO PROVIDE A MEANS FOR EMPLOYEES OF STATE AND/OR LOCAL GOVERNMENTS (AND THEIR POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS) TO ADDRESS POST EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL EXPENSES. THE TRUST ACCUMULATES EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OF HEALTH INSURANCE AND OTHER ELIGIBLE MEDICAL EXPENSES FOR PARTICIPANTS WHO SEPARATE FROM SERVICE FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYERS.
