THE MISSION OF CRISTO REY DALLAS WORK STUDY PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL CORPORATE AND NONPROFIT WORK EXPERIENCE AND CAREER EXPLORATION TO THE 450+ STUDENTS OF CRISTO REY DALLAS COLLEGE PREP, A COLLEGE PREPARATORY HIGH SCHOOL DESIGNED TO SERVE THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS. EACH STUDENT WORKS ONE DAY PER WEEK, AND ALL FUNDS RAISED (EMPLOYER-PAID FEES BY OUR 130 PLUS JOB PARTNERS) GENERATE 60% OF THE SCHOOL OPERATING BUDGET, WHICH ALLOWS EACH FAMILY, ON AVERAGE, TO PAY $200 PER MONTH. THE CRISTO REY DALLAS CORPORATE WORK STUDY PROGRAM (CWSP), COMBINED WITH THE SCHOOL'S ACADEMIC RIGOR AND A SAFE PLACE FOR OUR STUDENTS TO LEARN AND GROW. AS OUR STUDENTS PROGRESS THROUGHOUT THE CORPORATE WORK STUDY PROGRAM, THEY GET EQUIPPED WITH PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS, AND TECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS THAT WILL EQUIP THEM FOR SUCCESS IN COLLEGE AND BEYOND.
