The organization was formed to preserve, protect and promote, for public benefit, the historic and cultural sites, buildings, structures and objects in the City of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and north Walton County, Florida area. The preservation and restoration of these historic buildings and sites will provide multiple benefits to the community, particularly economic benefits through increased tourism and revitalized neighborhoods.
