THE DETC ACCREDITING COMMISSION DEFINES, MAINTAINS, AND PROMOTES EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE IN DISTANCE EDUCATION. THE COMMISSION FOSTERS QUALITY ASSURANCE, PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF THE STUDENTS AND INSTITUTIONAL SELF-IMPROVEMENT THROUGH VOLUNTARY ACCREDITATION VIA PEER EVALUATION.
