DISTRICT ONE COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER EXISTS TO STRENGTHEN THE SENSE OF SHARED COMMUNITY AND CULTURE AMONG PEOPLE OF DIFFERING BACKGROUNDS BY PRODUCING CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUPPORTS EMERGING ARTISTS IN THE PHILADELPHIA REGION BY OFFERING PERFORMANCE AND REHEARSAL OPPORTUNITIES.
