THE EAST SPRINGFIELD COMMUNITY CENTER COMMISSION, INC. (ESC3) IS A GRANTEE OF THE R3 PROGRAM AND OUR PROJECT RACE IS A PROGRAM THAT WE DEVELOPED TO IMPLMENT A NEW RE-ENTRY PROGRAM FOR SANGAMON COUNTY AND TO CARRYOUT A FEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TASKS SUCH AS FUNDING A FEASIBILITY STUDY, MARKET ANALYSIS, AND FINANCIAL FORECAST. THE FEASIBILITY STUDY PACKAGE IS TO AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW COMMUNITY CENTER, WHEREAS SOME PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS CAN BE TRAINED TO QUALIFY FOR THESE NEWLY DEVELOPED POSITIONS.THE REENTRY PROGRAM HAS A PROGRAM MANAGER, CASE MANAGER, CAMP COORDINATOR, AND DIRECTOR OF RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT. THE PROGRAM HAS A GOAL TO SERVE UP TO THIRTY INDIVIDUALS IN RESIDENTIAL SERVICES AND CASE MANAGEMENT. WE ASSIST THE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WITH RESIDENTIAL SERVICES TO SUPPORT THEM WITH HAVING A SAFE STABLE PLACE TO ALLOW THEM TO FOCUS FINDING EMPLOYMENT AND/OR ATTENDING JOB TRAINING OR SCHOOL.
