FOUNDED IN 1917 IN HARRISONBURG, VIRGINIA, EMU IS AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OF MENNONITE CHURCH USA. EMU SERVICES STUDENTS IN DIVERSE RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS AND CONFERS UNDERGRADUATE, GRADUATE, AND SEMINARY DEGREES. EMU EDUCATES STUDENTS TO SERVE AND LEAD IN A GLOBAL CONTEXT. OUR CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY CHALLENGES STUDENTS TO PURSUE THEIR LIFE CALLING THROUGH SCHOLARLY INQUIRY, ARTISTIC CREATION, GUIDED PRACTICE, AND LIFE-CHANGING CROSS-CULTRUAL ENCOUNTER.
