FAITH WAS FOUNDED ON JUNE 21, 1983 AND WAS LOCATED IN THE BASEMENT OF ST JOHN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH IN SANDY HOOK, CT, AS AN OUTREACH PROGRAM OF THE CHURCH. IN SEPTEMEBR 2016, THE EPISCOPAL DIOCESE CLOSED THE CHURCH, FORCING FAITH TO FIND A NEW FACILITY WHICH THEY SUCCESSFULLY DID. SHORTLY THEREAFTER FAITH MADE AN APPLICATION AND WAS GRANTED 501(C)3 STATUS.
