THE 2012 AND FUTURE FORT WAYNE AIR SHOWS ARE ENVISIONED TO HAVE THREE-FOLD PURPOSE: FIRST, TO DEMONSTRATE THE MAJESTY AND POWER OF MILITARY AND GENERAL AVIATION TO THE CITIZENS OF NORTHERN INDIANA; SECOND, TO SHOW COMMUNITY SUPPORT OF THE MILITARY PRESENCE IN FORT WAYNE; AND FINALLY, TO INVITE THE PUBLIC ONTO THE GROUND OF THE 122ND AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, SO THAT THEY MAY APPRECIATE THE BREADTH AND SCOPE OF ITS ACTIVITIES.
