ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE:PROVIDE AND SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES FOR INCARCERATED CITIZENS AND TO SERVE AS A RESOURCE TO INFORM THE PUBLIC OF OPTIONS FOR REFORMING THE COUNTRY'S APPROACH TO INCARCERATION. THE FREDERICK DOUGLASS PROJECT FOR JUSTICE FACILITATES STRUCTURED MEETINGS AND RESPECTFUL CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN MEMBERS OF FREE SOCIETY AND PRISONERS SO THAT THEY CAN LEARN FROM EACH OTHER, FORM POWERFUL HUMAN CONNECTIONS, AND TRANSFORM BOTH OF THEIR LIVES AND SOCIETY AT LARGE.
