The Friends of Sellers Hall is a community organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and interpretation of Sellers Hall built in 1684 by Samuel Sellers, one of the oldest houses in Pennsylvania. The Friends will: Preserve Sellers Hall as much as possible as it existed in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Educate the public about the history of Sellers Hall, Upper Darby, and the Sellers family, in the settlement of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Enlightenment, the American Revolution, the movement against slavery and the industrial developement of America
