FRIENDS OF THE LYRIC WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1987 TO RESTORE AND OPERATE THE 1926 HISTORIC THEATRE BUILDING IN DOWNTOWN STUART, FLORIDA. ITS MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A HOME FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS THAT ENTERTAINS, EDUCATES, AND STIMULATES THE GROWTH OF ARTISTIC INTEGRITY AND EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE.
