THE FRIENDSHIP FIRE COMPANY #1 SOCIAL QUARTERS OF BIRDSBORO SHALL BE OPERATED AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE CHARTER STATING THE SAME HAS BEEN RECORDED WITH THE BERKS COUNTY COURT; THE COMPANY SHALL SERVE THE BIRDSBORO-UNION FIRE DEPARTMENT; HOLD AND DISBURSE ALL PROPERTY AND MONIESDONATED OR TRANSFERRED TO IT FOR SUCH PURPOSES; AND TO ACQUIRE, OWN, BUY AND SELL LAND, BUILDINGS, REALESTATE AND OTHER PROPERTY NECESSARY OR INCIDENTAL TO THE PURPOSE OF THE COMPANY.
