SUPPORT THE OFFICERS OF THE GARDEN GROVE POLICE DEPARTMENT, BY PROMOTING A HIGH LEVEL OF COMMITMENT TO PUBLIC SAFETY AND PROFESSIONALISM WITHIN THE RANKS OF THE DEPARTMENT THROUGH EDUCATION, LEGAL SUPPORT, BENEFITS SUPPORT, AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH. IN ADDITION, PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE MEMBERS OR DEPENDENTS IN THE CASE OF SICKNESS, ACCIDENT, DISTRESS OR DEATH.
