THE MISSION OF HACKENSACK RIVERKEEPER IS TO PROTECT, PRESERVE, AND RESTORE THE HACKENSACK RIVER WATERSHED AND ITS LIVING RESOURCES. HACKENSACK RIVERKEEPER FIGHTS FOR CLEAN WATER, OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION, AND PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE RIVER FOR BOTH ACTIVE AND PASSIVE RECREATION.
