TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, EDUCATION, JAIL INSPECTION AND OTHER SUPPORT TO COUNTY SHERIFFS AND THEIR DEPARTMENTS, TO BE INVOLVED IN THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS TO ENSURE APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION IS PASSED THAT SUPPORTS CITIZEN SAFETY AND AWARD COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS.
