THE FOUNDATION ORGANIZES THE REGIONAL AND STATE MATHCOUNTS COMPETITIONS IN WHICH STUDENTS COMPETE AGAINST ONE ANOTHER IN MATH COMPETITION. THE PURPOSE OF THE COMPETITION IS TO FURTHER THE MATH SKILLS OF STUDENTS AND ENCOURAGE THOSE INTERESTED IN THE ENGINEERING PROFESSION TO REFINE THEIR MATH SKILLS. THE REVENUE COMES FROM SCHOOLS WITHIN ILLINOIS WHO REGISTER TO COMPETE IN THE COMPETITION.
