Mission
THE INSTITUTE WILL ADVANCE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY THROUGH THE EDUCATION OF ILLINOIS RESIDENTS, THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN THE AREAS OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, AND BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOR ENTREPRENEURISM, TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER, AND OTHER EDUCATION INITIATIVES THAT SUPPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT THROUGH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS.
