THE ORGANIZATION OF INDUSTRY REQUIRES HONEST AND INTELLIGENT MEMBERSHIP, ADAPTED TO THE BUSINESS. THE UNION TEACHES THEIR MEMBERSHIP THE ADVANTAGE, BENEFITS, AND IMPORTANCE OF THEIR INDUSTRIAL POSITION, AND THE UNION ENDEAVORS TO BUILD-UP AND PERFECT A LABOR ORGANIZATION IN CONFORMITY WITH THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF AMERICAN AND CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP. THE UNION SEEKS TO ENSURE THAT THE CONTRIBUTIONS MADE BY MEMBERS TO IMPROVE INDUSTRIES ARE RECOGNIZED AND THAT WORKERS RECEIVE THE BENEFITS DERIVED FROM THEIR LABORS IN THE FORM OF REASONABLE HOURS, FAIR WAGES, IMPROVED WORKING CONDITIONS, AND RESPECTFUL TREATMENT BY THEIR EMPLOYERS.
