THE INSTITUTE IS THE INTELLECTUAL AND EDUCATIONAL ARM OF THE SECULAR HUMANISTIC JEWISH MOVEMENT. THE INSTITUTE PRESENTS AND PROMOTES THE PHILOSOPHY OF SECULAR HUMANISTIC JUDAISM BY EXPLORING JEWISH CULTURAL INDENTITY THROUGH ACADEMIC INQUIRY AND BY TRAINING THE LEADERS AND RABBIS OF THE MOVEMENT.
