THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EPIDEMIOLOGY IS A SCIENTIFIC ASSOCIATIONTHAT IMPACTS RESEARCH, TRAINING AND POLICY WORLDWIDE. ITS MISSION IS TO FOSTEREPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDIES ON THE EFFECTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURES IN PEOPLE,STIMULATE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, PROMOTE METHODOLOGICALADVANCES, AND STRENGTHEN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH POLICY. THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FORENVIRONMENTAL EPIDEMIOLOGY (ISEE) PROVIDES A FORUM FOR THE DISCUSSION OF PROBLEMSUNIQUE TO THE STUDY OF HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT. WITH MEMBERSHIP OPEN TOENVIRONMENTAL EPIDEMIOLOGISTS AND OTHER SCIENTISTS AROUND THE WORLD, ISEE PROVIDES AVARIETY OF FORUMS FOR DISCUSSIONS, CRITICAL REVIEWS, COLLABORATIONS AND EDUCATION ONISSUES OF ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURES AND THEIR HUMAN HEALTH EFFECTS. THESE INCLUDEANNUAL MEETINGS, NEWSLETTERS, WORKSHOPS AND LIASONS WITH ACADEMIC, GOVENMENTAL,INTER-GOVERNMENTAL, NON-PROFIT AND BUSINESS INSTITUTIONS.
