TO FURNISH FACILITIES FOR BRINGING TOGETHER ITS MEMBERS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, THROUGH THE MEDIUM OF DISCUSSION OF ALL GENERAL EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC SUBJECTS, AND THE READING OF PAPERS, MAGAZINES, PERIODICALS AND BOOKS OF SCIENTIFIC AND LITERARY CHARACTER; FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A FUND TO BE USED FOR THE ERECTION, EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A PERMANENT HOME IN THE COUNTY OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, OR VICINITY, FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE CLUB MEMBERS AND THE IOTA CHAPTER OF THE THETA XI FOUNDATION.
