Mission
The purpose of the Jacksonville Scottish Highland Games, Inc. is to provide the framework and organizational tools necessary to provide an opportunity for all people of North Florida, South Georgia, and attendees from other areas to learn about Scottish heritage and its respective contribution to American culture and tradition. Examples of Scottish culture addressed by our events: historical contribution to our national and regional history; literature and poetry of Scotland; native dances; historical athletic contests; influence of agrarian life of rural Scotland; food specialties of Scotland; historical Scottish craft demonstrations.
