The Joseph Maley Foundation was founded in 2008, in honor of the life and spirit of Joseph Maley, a young man with severe disabilities who inspired others and who passed away in August 2008 at age 18 from leukemia. The Foundation's mission statement is, "Celebrating differences and cultivating an inclusive community through education and service of youth in Greater Indianapolis." The Foundation's vision is to lead the cultivation of a wholly inclusive community by educating and serving youth.
