THE MISSION OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE TO SERVE AS AN ASSOCIATION THAT REPRESENTS AND SERVES HOSPITALS, RELATED HEALTH CARE ORGANIZATIONS AND INTEGRATED HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS THAT ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO THE COMMUNITY AND ORIENTED TOWARD COMMUNITY HEALTH IMPROVEMENT. WHERE APPROPRIATE, THE ASSOCIATION WILL SEEK TO INVOLVE OTHER HEALTH CARE FACILITIES, PHYSICIAN GROUPS AND OTHER MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL CORPORATIONS, HEALTH PLANS AND OTHER INTEGRATORS.
