TO ADVANCE THE NURSING PROFESSION AND WORK FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF HEALTH STANDARDS AND THE AVAILABILITY OF HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR CITIZENS OF THE COMMONWEALTH. KNA WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL THROUGH FOSTERING HIGH STANDARDS OF NURSING AND PROMOTING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF NURSES AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF THEIR ECONOMIC AND GENERAL WELFARE.
