TO REDUCE BLINDNESS IN AFRICA BY BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF EYE CARE PROFESSIONALS, COMMUNITIES, AND OTHERS TO IMPLEMENT PREVENTION OF BLINDNESS ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT EASTERN AFRICA.
