THE PURPOSE OF THE INSTITUTE IS TOWARDS RESILIENT SUPPLY CHAINS PREDICATED AROUND THE CONCEPTS OF UNDERSTANDING THE THEORY OF SURGE. THE INSTITUTE WILL BE AN ORGANIZATION THAT CONDUCTS APPLIED RESEARCH TOWARDS DEVELOPING PRINCIPLES OF SURGE. THIS INCLUDES ACADEMIC COLLABORATION AND DEVELOPING INNOVATIONS TO FACILITATE SURGE ENVIRONMENTS WHEN ADDRESSING EXISTENTIAL THREATS.
