Mission

Larry King's Clubhouse: Children's Play and Care Center, Inc. is a free, drop-in child care center for children of jurors and members of the public with business at Mecklenburg County Courthouse. This facility enables the court to accomplish its mission and carry out its function by: -improving access to justice for jurors, witnesses, and litigants.-removing children from an environment where they might hear inappropriate and psychologically damaging testimony-increasing the efficiency of court operations by removing distracting or disruptive activity; and,-linking children and families to needed community service
