Leaders of Tomorrow After School Program is dedicated to the needs of low-income, Title 1, elementary school students by implementing an in-depth common core aligned curriculum divided into two engaging quarterly unitsLife Skills and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). These units are project-based with an emphasis on increasing health knowledge, social emotional learning, science education, equity, art appreciation, and college and career readiness. The students will be able to strengthen their reading comprehension, writing, mathematical modeling, and critical thinking by participating in project-based learning activities with the objective of improving research skills, communication, collaboration, and mathematically-themed progress monitoring.
