Mission

Lund helps children thrive by empowering families to break cycles of poverty, addiction and abuse. Lund offers hope and opportunity to families through education, treatment, family support and adoption. Lund serves birth parents, adoptive families and adoptees with counseling, post-adoption support, and search/reunion. Lund works with the State to run project family, which finds homes for Vermont's waiting children.Lund is Vermont's only residential treatment for pregnant or parenting adolescents/women, and their children and is a designated parent child center. Other services include outpatient substance abuse/mental health treatment for women and children; home visits to at-risk families; quality childcare/early education; and teen pregnancy prevention panels.
