Mission
TO PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE VICTIMS OF ABUSE AND NEGLECT TO TELL THEIR STORY. WE OFFER FORENSIC INTERVIEWS, MEDICAL EXAMS, AND ADVOCACY. WE ALSO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ON HOW TO BEST RECOGNIZE AND REPORT CHILD ABUSE. ABBOTT HOUSE COORDINATED THE CLEVELAND COUNTY MULTI- DISCIPLINARY TEAM (MDT). IT IS COMPRISED OF ABBOTT HOUSE STAFF, THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND MENTAL HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS.
