Mary Meyer School is a family-centered learning facility deriving its strength and intimacy from the involvement of parents and community. The commitment to the cherished founding philosophy of letting children be children has endured for more than seventy-five years. Parent involvement has remained a central tenet of the School and has bound one generation to the next, assuring a warm and meaningful experience for all children who attend. Mary Meyer School is an independent, non-profit and self-supporting school welcoming two, three and four year old children from throughout Chicago, striving to maintain a diverse student body. The teachers' experience and commitment are among the School's greatest assets as they understand the importance of a child's first encounter with a structured learning environment.
