THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO RAISE FUNDS FROM CURRENT AND ALUMNI FAMILIES, COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND LOCAL FOUNDATIONS INTERESTED IN SUPPORTING EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITY. RATHER THAN SUPPLANTING LOCAL FUNDING, THE FOUNDATION'S GOAL IS TO FUND PROGRAMS WHICH WOULD OTHERWISE BE UNAVAILABLE DUE TO LIMITED FUNDING FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION. INITIATIVES FUNDED WITH THE GENEROUS SUPPORT OF THE COMMUNITY PROVIDE FOR CRITICAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND STAFFING THAT BENEFIT EACH AND EVERY M-A STUDENT.
