THE ASSOCIATION IS AN ADVOCATE FOR THE SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, AND PROVIDES PRACTICAL TOOLS AND EDUCATIONAL TRAINING FOR THE IDENTIFICATION, PREVENTION, AND REFERRAL OF MENTAL ILLNESS.
