THE ASSOCIATION COORDINATES ACTIVITIES RELATED TO POLICE AND PEACE OFFICERS IN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA. THE ASSOCIATION IS INVOLVED WITH SUPPORTING THE PASSAGE OF LAWS AT THE STATE LEVEL ENHANCING LAW ENFORCEMENT. THE ASSOCIATION CONTINUALLY STRIVES TO IMPROVE THE SAFETY, TRAINING AND WORKING CONDITIONS OF POLICE AND PEACE OFFICERS. THE ASSOCIATION PUBLISHES THE MINNESOTA POLICE JOURNAL, A MAGAZINE INFORMING MEMBERSHIP OF CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT. THIS PUBLICATION IS PRODUCED FOUR TIMES PER YEAR AND IS DISTRIBUTED TO THE MORE THAN 10,000 MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION.
