MAMU IS A STATE-WIDE MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION FOR ANY MUNICIPALITY OWNING AND OPERATING ITS OWN UTILITY. THE ASSOCIATION'S PRIMARY MISSION IS TO MONITOR LEGISLATION, KEEP ITS MEMBERSHIP INFORMED AS TO HOW PROPOSED AND EXISTING LEGISLATION AFFECTS THEM AND EFFICIENTLY REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF THE MEMBERSHIP BEFORE THE MISSOURI LEGISLATURE. ALSO, MAMU PROVIDES COMMUNICATION, EDUCATION AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES ON A COOPERATIVE BASIS.
