The Multicultural Institute offers programs at three locations in Alameda County, San Mateo County and Contra Costa County. Strategic focus areas for all programming include economic development, vocational skill development, learning opportunities, and immigrant and health support. Current constituents include day laborers, domestic workers, low-income adults, and youth from 2nd to 10th grade. Services include job placement, vocational training and courses in Spanish, wage claim support, food distribution, and health, legal and immigration support, along with after school programs for low-income students.
