THE MUSEUM PROVIDES FOR THE RESTORATION AND RE-CREATION OF PIONEER FARM VILLAGES, AND THE ACQUISITION, PRESERVATION, INTERPRETATION AND DISPLAY OF HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND RELICS FROM THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIA REGION.
