THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR CIVILIAN OVERSIGHT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT'S (NACOLE) MISSION IS TO CREATE A COMMUNITY OF SUPPORT FOR INDEPENDENT, CIVILIAN OVERSIGHT ENTITIES THAT SEEK TO MAKE THEIR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES MORE TRANSPARENT, ACCOUNTABLE, AND RESPONSIVE TO THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE.
