THE COMMISSION DEVELOPS STANDARDS FOR AND ACCREDITS EXISTING ORTHOTICS AND PROSTHETICS PROGRAMS OFFERED THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND, FURTHERMORE, PROVIDES ADVICE AND GUIDANCE TO INDIVIDUALS OR COMMISSIONS SEEKING TO CREATE AND ESTABLISH NEW ORTHOTICS AND PROSTHETICS PROGRAMS.
