THE NATIONAL MILK PRODUCERS FEDERATION (NMPF) WAS ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE THE INTERESTS OF THE PRODUCERS OF MILK AND THE COOPERATIVES THEY OWN. ITS GENERAL OBJECTIVES ARE TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH MILK AND ITS PRODUCTS ARE PRODUCED; TO IMPROVE MARKETING METHODS; TO STANDARDIZE AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF DAIRY PRODUCTS; AND TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE AND PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF DAIRY FARMERS AND THEIR COOPERATIVES.
