ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A REPOSITORY AND MUSEUM FOR THE COLLECTION, HOUSING AND DISPLAY OF ARTIFACTS, MANUSCRIPTS, BOOK DOCUMENTS AND OTHER MATERIALS PERTAINING TO THE ART OF MEDICINE AS IT WAS PRACTICED DURING THE PERIOD OF THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR (1861-1865), SO AS TO FURTHER THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC REGARDING THIS ERA OF MEDICAL HISTORY.
