THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO SUPPORT THE EFFORTS OF ITS MEMBER DEALERS AND THE MORE THAN 5,000 INDIVIDUALS THEY EMPLOY. THE ORGANIZATIONS PROGRAMS ARE CENTERED ON GENERATING INTEREST IN EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT NEW AUTOMOBILES AND CURRENT TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES IN THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY PRIMARILY THROUGH THE HOSTING OF AN NNUAL AUTO SHOW. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROVIDES INFORMATION AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO ITS MEMBER DEALERSHIOS AND THEIR STAFF RELATED TO COMPLIANCE ISSUES AND REGULATIONS, AS WELL AS MONITORING CHANGES IN THE LAW THAT MAY AFFECT THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY.
