TO ASSIST PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENT ATHLETES IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA THROUGH AWARDING OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND TO PRESERVE THE EDUCATIONAL NATURE OF INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETICS AND THE PLACE OF THESE PROGRAMS IN THE CURRICULAR OF THE HIGH SCHOOLS IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA.
